Portrait of a gentleman circa 1780/90.

The subject wears a red coat (possibly a hunting jacket) over his waistcoat and white neck cloth.

A fantastic, decorative painting that displays well. In good overall condition, one old repair to the canvas back as detailed in the images. This translates as approx 5cm to the right of the subjects nose.
