Boxed travelling chess board
A late Victorian, circa 1880/1900 mahogany cased travelling chess set, complete with red and white bone playing pieces.
Double folding top and inner protective panels which keep the pieces in place while being transported.
Brass hinges and latches. Playing surface of rosewood and satinwood.
In very good antique condition, minimal signs of use and all playing pieces original and present. Slight movement to joint as detailed in image.
