Dry scraped chest of drawers
It’s not often a humble piece of pine furniture can provide details as to its previous life. This great chest of drawers can give us a glimpse of its past just from the label to the back. Of pine construction with a superb scumble finish in imitation of oak, even quarter sawn oak in places. Now dry scraped of multiple layers of paint revealing this striking original colour scheme. 2 over 2 arrangement of drawers with original handles (later painted) the whole standing on turned feet.
