Trompe l’oeil chest of drawers.
Late 19th century with a later paint finish that has been scrapped and worn. A traditional buff colour with a trompe l’oeil effect in blue, white and black. This gives the illusion of depth with highlights and shade.
All drawers run smoothly and retain their original blue paper lining with one still showing the makers label. Replacement hardwood handles.
