18th Century chest on chest circa 1770/80.
Oak with mahogany crossbanding detail to drawer fronts, glorious quarter sawn timbers and a most wonderful bleached and waxed finish.
Standing on bracket feet with an arrangement of six graduated drawers and a leather lined brushing slide. The top section having a dentil cornice. Brass swan neck handles.
Evidence of previous use and restorations as to be expected from a piece of country furniture well over 200 years old however this just adds to the charm and character.
