We will describe all items as accurately and fully as possible and to the best of our knowledge. Age, history and details are as important to us as the potential customer. Please note that our stock is antique or vintage and as such most exhibit age related wear. They are not offered in perfect condition, each piece will have marks, bumps and bruises that tell of its previous life. Please contact us in the event of further information or images being required……we are only to please to help.
All purchases are to be paid for before leaving our premises.
Delivery is arranged via our trusted couriers, our own in house delivery or working with a courier of your choice.
A courier or agent of the customers choosing does so as a contractor of the purchaser, not Hawthornes Antiques and as such no liability can be held by ourselves.
All goods are sold as seen via the website. We feel the images and accompanying description give an accurate portrayal of each piece. Further images or condition reports are available upon request.
Hawthornes Antiques abides by the distance selling regulations and offer a 7 day money back refund policy. The customer has the right to return an item for any reason. All items must be returned to ourselves in the same condition as it left our premises. Return costs are to be met by the purchaser. Refunds will not be issued before inspection of said items has been completed by ourselves. These terms do not apply to international sales, no returns are accepted.
Any items bought online or in-store which have been commissioned or modified by ourselves at the customers request are non returnable or refundable.
If you receive goods damaged in transit or are faulty please notify us within 24 hours of receipt alongside supporting photographs. We shall not accept any responsibility for damage whatsoever when goods have been collected in person or by the clients appointed courier.

We invoice through PayPal for credit and debit card payments, 3.5% charge.
Cash on collection by prior arrangement.
